
Sedco design and install circulating systems
for various coating applications.Our systems are designed to supply material
to pre determined take off points located around the spray booth area. Graduated
pipe work systems can be installed in either Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel
dependent upon the material being used.
The design of the pipe work includes correct
pipe work diameter to ensure that the material is kept in suspension and is
delivered to the point of use at the correct volume and pressure.
Low shear pumps and components ensure minimum
degradation of the coating during the circulation period.
Typical Circulating System


The
heart of the circulating system is the material pump, the pump on the left is
a pneumatically operated ITW Binks Maple 4 ball Stainless Steel circulating
pump. This pump offers a low shear pumping action together with a low pulsing
performance making it the ideal solution for paint circulating systems.
The pump on the right is the ITW Binks E2-20
electric circulating pump. The electric pumps offer excellent energy savings
over air driven pumps and can form part of a "Smart Pump" system.
The "Smart Pump2 system adjusts the pump cycling speed dependent upon
demand, reducing power consumption and degradation of the paint by circulating
of the paint when demand is low.
The E2-220 can show a very short return on
investment together with long service life and low pulsation operation.
Part
of the circulating system is the Back Pressure Fluid Regulator.The fluid regulator
illustrated on the right is a low shear fluid regulator making it particularly
suitable for water based paints.The regulator is supplied with sanitary fittings
for quick removal and maintenance and to ensure that material can flow with
the minimum of obstruction.The sanitary fittings also ensure that no "dead"
areas exist where material can build up and cause contamination in the material.

Material
requires filtering prior to the point of use on the circulating system. Sedco
supply and install cartridge type filters to ensure that the material is filtered
to specification.Our filters are fitted with two pressure gauges to visually
indicate the condition of the filter element.the filters are fitted with sanitary
fittings for quick removal and maintenance and to ensure that material can flow
with the minimum of obstruction.The sanitary fittings also ensure that no "dead"
areas exist where material can build up and cause contamination in the material.
